Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Mirror (a sole proprietorship) collects, why, and what control you have. Short version: we collect your trading data to show you your own behavior, we sell nothing to anyone, and you can delete everything.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — email, phone number, name.
  • Trading data — trades, orders, and positions synced read-only from brokers you connect, or uploaded by you as CSV.
  • Chat data — your conversations with the Mirror coach.
  • Usage data — product analytics (pages, features used) via PostHog; error logs via Sentry.

2. How we use it

  • Computing your behavioral metrics and Discipline Score.
  • Generating coaching responses: relevant slices of your trading data are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce responses. Anthropic does not train models on this data per their API terms.
  • Sending the emails and WhatsApp nudges you opt into.
  • Improving the product using aggregated, de-identified usage.

3. What we never do

  • Sell your personal data.
  • Share your trades with other users or third parties for marketing.
  • Place orders or touch funds — broker access is read-only.

4. Storage and security

  • Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security — your rows are readable only by your authenticated account.
  • Broker tokens are stored server-side and expire daily.
  • Transport is encrypted (TLS) end to end.

5. Sharing your Report Card

The shareable Report Card is generated on your device and shared only when you choose to share it. What you post publicly is your call.

6. Your rights

  • Export — request a copy of your data at any time.
  • Delete — deleting your account from Settings removes your profile, trades, chats, and scores from our systems within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax/legal compliance.
  • Opt out — turn off WhatsApp/email notifications in Settings at any time.

7. Processors we use

Supabase (database and auth), Anthropic (AI responses), Razorpay (payments — we never see your card details), Resend (email), AiSensy (WhatsApp), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error monitoring).
